Road patrol movie

A couple of weeks a go the road patrollers made a road patrol movie about being safe.

Social Dancing

Yesterday the year Fives and Sixes,did social dancing. When we first got there we got in a big circle, and the boys got a partner. First we started with the Disco Jive. My first partner was Te Paerangi. It was my Favourite Dance. Then we did some new dances that were really fun. To finish the lesson of we did the chicken dance, for fun, it was very funny. By Sophia

Badminton

On Monday Room six walked to Badminton.When we first got there we all started by stretching. After that we went on the floor and did some stretches. Then to warm up we played a really fun game, You needed a team, in my team there was Sophie and Ashanti. The team we faced was Damien, Jasfer and Charith.
It was very challenging, but in the end, my team won! After that we started playing a game of Badminton.
My partner was Sophie and Ashanti. After that we got our shoes and hat, and it was our last lesson so we all said thank you to the badminton teacher.

Cycle Safety

On Tuesday , Constable Val taught  us about cycle safety. We did a bike obstacle track. I did it twice. It was very hard. Constable Val set the track so we could learn about cycle safety.  Mr Waite said I was very good at practising looking back to see if any cars were coming. I got a very good score from the class.

Bushy Park Walk

On Sunday most of  Room Six and Room Five went on a walk at  Bushy Park. It was very hard. We started walking we saw a GIANT tree! I couldn't believe how big it was, it had a big thick fat trunk too! We started walking again and it was very damp! I also saw alot of moss on a tree. Just before we stopped for lunch I slipped,on a branch that was sticking up and had some moss on it, and I twisted my ankle AWWWWHHOOO I screamed it really hurt. I had to limp the way to the lunch area! It was so annoying. When we got to the lunch area I couldn't wait to sit down because of my saw ankle. After we had had  something to eat, we walked back I could'nt wait to sit down.

The Westmere Walkway

On Thursday ,Room Six , Room Five and the Year Fives from Room Four  went on a walk up Westmere Walkway.
 It was muddier than I thought it was going, I could 'nt even see my shoes!
Halfway into the walk we saw lots of trees that looked like broccoli. I felt like I wanted to eat them because broccoli is my favourite vegetable.
 We stopped for lunch,then we had a big play on a really big hill, by a creek.
 I went and played in the creek with Sophie.While we were there Sophie said, "should we jump over to the other side?" So we did. I did'nt really want to because I did'nt want to slip!
  On the way back I slipped and got the yucky mucky mud all over me, and another time I nearly slipped again but lucky Sophie caught me
 When we got back to the bus I was so tired and we had to take our shoes off because they were so muddy! When I got into the bus I couldn't wait to sit down because I was so tired.

Who am I?

Races

On Thursday Room Six walked to the races.
We went there to have a ride on ponies.
Brett the manager of the racecourseorganised us to ride them .

When I hopped on and had a ride I felt awesome! It felt like the best time I had ever had. I hope we go there again.
